ReplyDeletechecking them out gives me confidence and I think I will pass
ReplyDeleteI think i Will pass these answers give confidence thank u
ReplyDeleteIs this the paper?
ReplyDeleteit was handed out by driving schools who guaranteed a 100% pass. You decide.
DeleteThis will help me a lot thank you Mr/Mrs Blogger
ReplyDeleteThese questions were from the actual exam and were sold to learners by certain driving schools who guaranteed a pass. They may have been changed slightly by now, but they will still give you a good idea as to whether you are properly prepared. Good luck
ReplyDeleteBut some of these answers are incorrect.... just saying!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhich ones? Each question has a number, please be more specific. Until then it will be assumed you have not studied the rules properly.
DeleteThe question about: when you are driving towards the circle of z4, shouldnt the answer be: you must wait for traffic from the right?
ReplyDeleteCircle Z4 is known as a mini circle with a yellow painted island in the middle, and is treated as first-come-first go, similar to a 4-way stop
DeleteThe is a lot of rules that I am not getting right when turning sharp it say we should use control 1,3,4,5,6,8 and 9 the other one says we should use 1,3,4,5,6,8,9, and 10 which is right guys
ReplyDeleteI would say you must use 10 as well, as you cannot move the car without using your accelerator
DeleteAnswer for number 105 is wrong because (i) cannot be right as you are not allowed to cross the yellow line to the left at night. Only during daytime. So the answer there is B
ReplyDeletegood point. Where can one find these rules to check up on them?
DeleteK53 book
DeleteI've corrected the answer to 105 in the blog above, though I've not cross-checked, but not driving in the emergency lane at night does ring a bell.
DeleteExtracted from the AA's website: https://www.aa.co.za/about/press-room/press-releases/aa-legal-eagle-when-is-it-permitted-to-drive-in-the-yellow-lane.html
Delete"...The only exception for normal motorists is if you are travelling on a single carriageway road with one lane in each direction. In this case it is permitted to move into the emergency lane to allow faster moving cars to pass you. However, the Act clearly states that if you are moving aside to allow vehicles to pass, you can only do so during daytime hours, which means between sunrise and sunset. By law you are required to make sure that you have at least 150m of visibility ahead before you move over, so under no circumstances can you slip into the yellow line on a blind rise. Likewise, on an open road, if there is heavy rain, mist or fog that hinders visibility, the emergency lane is out of bounds as you may hit a stationery vehicle, or worse, a pedestrian...
Good book
ReplyDeleteTo those who have used this before, does it work. I am currently preparing for my learners test, to hold this coming Friday.
ReplyDeleteIt worked for my spouse and from previous comments, for others too. It should keep working until they review the K53 system, so good for the foreseeable future. Good luck.
Deletesince 2010 till now june 2017 still the same test? or is different from this? thank u
ReplyDeleteK53 has not yet been revised, so still working.

DeleteQ104 GM1 answer is A
ReplyDeletePlease post a link to the correct image for everyone's benefit, so that we can understand why A is correct; there are several reference sketches still missing, thank you. I suspect the sketch should show four dotted lines dividing one side of a 5-lane highway.
DeleteI bought the latest edition of K53 book and the information here still seems pretty much relevant, well I guess I'll know for sure after 7 days
ReplyDeleteIf you're doing the touch screen computerized test this will not help at all. They've changed everything
ReplyDeleteThank you. I will try to edit the heading to warn learners. Then when driving schools start collecting the questions from the new test, hopefully someone will upload them to a new blog.
DeleteHey there, I had failed my touch screen learners cause I was using guides which focus on the written old test. I passed today after using this guide from the Department of Transport. The questions are based on it.
Deletehttp://www.enatis.com/index.php/downloads/cat_view/12-public/73-learner-driver-manual
I'm tired of sewing people fail the touch screen using old manuals.
Thank you. I copied your link to the heading of this page. I am also surprised that the info was online since 2012 and still people were buying all the learners books.
DeleteThank you very much. I passed my learner's test today. And 98% of the questions were the same as in this blog. I was so excited when they showed me my marks, that I got full marks didn't miss any.
ReplyDeleteThank you. From Melo in Cape Town
Well done! Which testing centre did you use? Was it the touch screen test that some learners reported had quite different questions?
DeleteDo these also apply to Code 10 learners ?
ReplyDeleteAll except the vehicle controls questions, which are for code 8, but they should be almost identical to code 10 vehicle controls.
Deletewhat questions are for lmv
ReplyDeleteThe rules questions apply to all codes including Code 10 and LMV but the vehicle controls questions are only for LMV.
DeleteEven in 2020, these questions are everything you need to know to pass your learner's. Just got mine now! Thank you so much for compiling all these questions to help us
ReplyDeleteThat's good to know. Out of interest, did you do your test on a computerised, touch-screen system? Some suggest those testing centres use different questions.
